 Candidate for Secretary of the Florida Council on Crime and Delinquency

Christina D. Crews is a dedicated professional with over 25 years of experience in the Florida Department of Corrections. She was promoted to Assistant Warden at Columbia Correctional Institution in July 2021 and transferred to Baker Re-Entry in October 2024.

Her career began in 2001 as a Secretary Specialist at Gainesville Correctional Institution. She advanced to Classification Officer in 2005, then to Senior Classification Officer in 2013. In 2016, she was promoted to Classification Supervisor at Columbia Correctional Institution, followed by a promotion to Correctional Service Administrator at Florida Women's Reception Center in 2020. She became an Assistant Warden in 2021 and is currently serving at Baker Re-Entry.

Beyond her professional roles, Mrs. Crews has been an active and engaged community member. Over the years, she has served and participated in various organizations and committees, including her dedicated involvement with the Florida Council on Crime and Delinquency (FCCD). She has served as Chapter 5 President on two occasions and contributed to numerous State Board committees such as Food & Beverage, Institute Finance, Golf Team, Time & Place, Institute Manager, and Scholarship committees.

Throughout her involvement in Florida Council on Crime and Delinquency, Christina has received several awards at the state level, including recognition for chapter effectiveness, community service, training excellence, and the President's Award, highlighting her dedication and outstanding contributions to both her profession and her community.

Mrs. Crews has been married to her husband, Casey, for 31 years. They have three children: Casey Jr. (30), Carrie (29), and Christian (18), and are proud grandparents to Bryson (9). She is actively involved in her community and serves on several nonprofit boards, including the Florida Council on Crime and Delinquency.
